Increase Traffic and Get Better Rankings

Increase traffic has become the buzzword of about every website owner alive. Every individual seems to be jockeying for top rankings in the search engines, especially on Google. The so-called internet gurus say to do this or do that, and you will increase traffic to your website so much that your bandwidth won't be able to handle it. There is a lot of misinformation on the internet about increasing traffic to your website and the SERP (Search Engine Results Pages) in general. Google gets giddy about all of the inaccurate information, and for some reason when things are spread around time and time again, the sheep follow along and take it as truth.

If you really want to increase traffic, there are some things you ought to know. Firstly, don’t believe everything you read about Google. If you do believe everything, you may be too gullible. Even if you read something about backlinks that so many resources have "verified", still question it. And you will hear this refrain again and again: “Don’t try to reinvent the wheel. Just keep building backlinks, and over time you will increase traffic and search engine rankings.” Over time is too long for me to wait. Don’t be do something new and different and try out unconventional methods. Afraid of ending up in the sandbox? It is okay; there are means to make your way from out of the sandbox, and you can even keep at the backlink building while in the sandbox. It isn’t unheard of to come straight out of the sandbox onto page one ;-).

You can increase traffic and rankings in a more efficient, faster, and effective way by getting backlinks from authority sites as opposed to tons of "little" sites. And do you understand that your links will serve you all the better when you have backlinks to your backlinks to your backlinks? I’m not stuttering, yes you build backlinks to your backlinks. And the deeper the better.

If you are seriously thinking about increasing traffic, you will get crazy with it and do something different. You must think outside the box. I’m not going to tell you everything you need to do to increase traffic, because if I did, it would become common knowledge, everyone would do it, and it would become less effective. Contrary to popular belief, you must become an inventor of sorts to stay in the SEO field for the long haul. Always be learning, always be one step ahead and you will easily be able to increase traffic at will.
